A modular, multi-room recording environment powered by Dante Audio-over-IP, NDI video routing, analogue tape machines, vintage synths and a hybrid mix workflow. Every booth is linked. Every signal is flexible.

Designed for musicians, podcasters, producers and content creators, CRS combines:
Every room is wired into a flexible hybrid system that gives you speed, warmth, reliability and creative freedom.
We're building professional infrastructure with an equitable heart. At least 15% of all studio hours are permanently reserved for subsidized access to professional recording facilities.
15% of all bookable hours are ring-fenced monthly for subsidised or free sessions — providing professional-grade infrastructure to young people (16-25), low-income artists, OX4 residents, and community projects.
Prioritization for: 16–25 year olds, OX4 residents, low-income artists, neurodivergent creators (sensory-friendly sessions available), and community-led projects. Standard rates from £35/hr — subsidized pool offers deeply discounted or no-cost access.
Dante Audio-over-IP + NDI Video-over-IP: All 5 rooms networked for cross-room collaboration. Kii Three + BXT monitoring, Sphere DLX microphones, and hybrid analogue/digital workflow accessible to all users regardless of rate.

Funder-Friendly Overview
This section mirrors the acoustic + structural descriptions from the ACE application:
Your webpage should present this simply — but confidently — to show technical credibility without overwhelming casual readers.
A Unique Oxford USP
One of CRS's defining features: The Workshop Café is acoustically and digitally linked to the Control Room.
This allows for:
This is a rare hybrid model that combines performance, community engagement and high-spec production in one building.
Creative Tech Edge
CRS is wired into the Digital Pulse façade & signage system, enabling:
This is the "studio of the future" dimension funders love. It frames CRS not only as a recording space — but as a creative R&D hub for Oxford.
Your studio is powered by 15+ years of engineering experience (Oli's CV) and hands-on AV work. This page should gently acknowledge:
(It ties directly into AV Services and the heritage story.)
Directly aligned with the Grassroots Music application:
CRS is not an elitist studio — it's a public-facing creative space.
